Driven by a commitment to academic excellence, Dr. Rane has played pivotal roles in sponsor and name changes of institutions, exemplified by his involvement in transforming the University of Technology and Management, Shillong, into Maharashtra Institute of Technology University of Meghalaya.
With a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Dr. Rane is a seasoned academician with diverse expertise, including energy efficiency, environmental pollution control, thermodynamics, and process equipment design. His career spans roles such as Director at MIT School of Distance Education, where he orchestrated its affiliation with AICTE, and Deputy Director at MIT Academy of Engineering, managing a spectrum of administrative and strategic responsibilities.
