With a remarkable 20-year career in education, Dr. Priya Rao has established herself as an innovative academic leader dedicated to student engagement and educator collaboration. Currently residing in Manipal, Karnataka, Dr. Rao's skills span instructional leadership, policy development, academic administration, and staff management.
In her most recent role as Dean-External Relations at Avantika University, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Rao demonstrated expertise in external liaison, accrediting the university with global institutions and professional bodies. Simultaneously, she served as the Director of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), focusing on quality assurance, audits, and accreditations.
Prior to her tenure at Avantika University, Dr. Rao held significant positions, including Principal at Pravara Rural College of Pharmacy, Loni, Maharashtra. During her leadership, she achieved permanent affiliation with SPPU, Pune, and provided effective training to teachers on various aspects of education.
Dr. Rao's academic journey includes roles as Principal at different institutes, such as Pravara Rural Education Society's College Of Pharmacy (For Women), Nashik, and Associate Professor at various renowned institutions in Punjab, Gujarat, and Karnataka.
Her educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur. Dr. Rao has consistently contributed to academia, publishing over 40 papers in national and international journals. Recognized as a certified Neurolinguistic Practitioner, she also holds a diploma in nutrition.
Dr. Priya Rao is not only a seasoned academic but also a proactive member of various academic bodies, including being a recognized Ph.D. guide.
